For quite some time, I chased around trying to find places to list my businesses and get backlinks. There are so many places that want to charge you just to list a simple description of your business with a link to your site, that I decided to create this webORizer site to provide a place for people to get added to our directory with links to their site for free.
I currently offer two types of listings, regular or featured. To get a regular link all you have to do is enter your information via the suggest listing choice. It is best to do it from the category you want your listing to go into but you don't have to. But you do need to specify what category and subcategory you want your listing to go under. There is a selection tree to choose it.
To get a featured listing, where your listing will appear before others in the category, all you need to do is put a backlink to my site on yours. Specify the page where I can verify it in the reciprocal link field, I will check it, and if there, I will set your listing to featured. If you don't see a category that fits your site, get as close as you can and choose one of the 'other' subcategories to put your listing in and then suggest your category to me and I will see about adding one for you. Building categories can take time though, since I have to see where it fits best and then enter all the necessary category information into the database. Please NOTE: I will not approve categories if they are too specific and I dont feel any other listings would go into it. For example, Plumbing Services would be approved, while Plumbing Services Centerville would not. I will try to offer as many categories as possible.
I will try to approve all links as soon as humanly possible. Please note, that I do not really want this directory to have a bunch of links to adult sites and such and each link will be verified before entry into the directory. I won't approve any scam or dangerous sites either. This directory is for legitimate people to get links to their sites.
Make sure to give a nice description of your website, blog or business since the search engines both on the site and elsewhere will use the information to locate your site.
It is IMPORTANT that you either select a category or choose the UNCATEGORIZED category for your listings. Any listings with no category selected are automatically deleted.
